Why she was cast in this role when there are so many actresses who could do it better is beyond me. Her character is not interesting, just another obsessed agent role. Eddie Redmayne can do it all, his range as an actor is impressive, from stage dramas to musicals to movies. He never disappoints. In this role, he is solid in everything he does. The plot is interesting and gripping… funny how we support the jackal… not the MI6 agent. The locations of the series are impressive and the plot is extremely exciting. It cannot be compared to the original, it is a worthy adaptation for our current times.
