Exploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them upside down, taking audiences into uncharted territory. Chadwick Boseman’s final Marvel project before his death. The Watcher: [Opening narration of each episode] Time. Space. Reality. It’s more than a linear path. It’s a prism of infinite possibilities, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know. I am the Watcher. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and ponder the question… «What if?» After the Marvel logo appears, it transitions into an animated form in the show’s art style. Edited from Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very straightforward episode of rushing things along to get these pieces of the puzzle together. And my facial expressions were also pretty straightforward watching this episode, as there was no emotion or even a logical narrative, I take it this is an Amine show aimed at kids, maybe? But only those kids who are familiar with the entire MCU by now might enjoy it. Let’s see how the rest of the episodes turn out, but I’m certainly not too excited about them after this one. It had a real feel for what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with some great WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed watching T’challa back on screen, however, the third episode was a problem and made me edit this review. It was so emotional and thrilling to watch that I could have watched an entire movie in this episode. It explored the characters we know to a level that leaves you wanting more. I hope to get to a 10 star edition by the end of the season. Edition II: Here’s another star for a ‘stranger’. 39; still thought-provoking episode that was by far the best of the lot in terms of writing, narration, animation and plot. Special mention to Benedict Cumberbatch for nailing the voice like a boss. Take a bow, Marvel, for pulling this one off. However, coming to episode 5, the episode was entertaining for sure, it was humorous and engaging with quality animation, but again it showed too much simultaneously, not giving the viewers enough time to absorb things. 10 overall for the series until the next two episodes at least. They need to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
