Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. The townspeople look to Bollywood cinema for a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegaon to make a film for the residents of Malegaon. He gathers his group of friends to realize his vision and bring new life to the town. The film is a touching yet uplifting take on both cinema and friendship – and what happens when these two worlds collide.
